I left that place in 2001 for college and never considered returning for even the Turkey Isnt The Only Thing Thanksgiving Baby Announcet T-Shirt and by the same token and briefest moment. My white peoples at least, have no culture. I’m trying to develop traditions for my own kids, and embracing the joy of the cultures around me, but I have no community or identity. There is no “white culture” because there is no single culture that encompasses all “white” people. Even the definition of white has changed as it once did not include Jews, Italians, or several other cultures now lumped into white. In America, the default American culture is assumed to be of white or more accurately European origin. But that is often not an accurate assumption as American culture is a culture of assimilation. While American culture has many obvious ties to Europe, it is never a direct copy of any one place and varies dramatically within different regions. Claims that white Americans have no culture are a divisive tactic used to sew hatred and distrust amongst Americans.

It’s racism in its own to say that. If a white person said that about someone who isn’t white then it’ll be called what it is, so anyone saying that is what that is. The only people that say ‘white’ people don’t have culture are racist blacks, jews, and vapid liberal bloggers. The same people that claim whites don’t spice their food…while ignoring what set off the Turkey Isnt The Only Thing Thanksgiving Baby Announcet T-Shirt and by the same token and fucking age of exploration. Because it’s very homogenized and assumed to be the standard of culture, plus a lot of white Americans have had their ethnic identities erased/lost, so to the outsider viewing the culture there’s no real variation. Plus whiteness is arbitrary and mostly decided by appearance. Cultural identity is a lot more regionally based than racially.
