I think mostly in pictures and dialogue/scenes. I mean, when forming words like now I have words, but if just taking to myself, I don’t really talk. I just have pictures. If I’m thinking about something, it’ll replay or I’ll see it and hear it. I don’t have a monologue very much (or think in words) much. Recently I mentioned this Try That in a Small Town I Recommend You Don’t Jason Aldean Singer Usa Flag shirt Furthermore, I will do this to one of my students (I’m a high school teacher) and another who is ASD said “oh that’s an autism trait!” Haha. I always have me talking to myself when thinking something. Also, I heard my voice when I read in silent. It doesn’t really bother me much about someone doesn’t have an inner voice in their head. Ppl are just different. If I’m thinking about getting up to brush my teeth, it will just be this feeling that I should get up and brush my teeth. I won’t hear anything like “I should brush my teeth” and neither will I see an image of a brush or myself brushing my teeth.

But if I don’t get up and I’m trying to force myself, I’ll then tell myself “Okay that’s enough, you need to brush and it’s getting late”. Or sometimes to motivate myself, I’ll conjure up pictures of me getting up, going to the Try That in a Small Town I Recommend You Don’t Jason Aldean Singer Usa Flag shirt Furthermore, I will do this bathroom and starting to brush. But both cases will require me thinking words/pictures intentionally. My mind feels very calm and quiet most of the time. I think it helps me think clearly and I guess, abstractly? I could almost visualise abstract maths and physics topics such as quantum mechanics and see their intricacies whilst my peers would still be trying to wrap their head around the idea. Similarly when I code, I feel like I don’t see the code that I’m writing but I can feel the abstract concept of how the code works and where it’s failure points are. I was able to quicky find errors in my teacher’s work soon after learning to code. It wasn’t errors like saying “oh you missed this line so this will break” but more a generic feeling that this system’s weak point feels like this and it will break if a person does this. My teacher wouldn’t believe me at first until eventually his code did break in those scenarios I had described. I don’t think he stills believes me unless I point to a line of code and say “this line will break in this scenario” If you DON’T have in internal monologue, are you like, just a robot? Or animal like a dog? That’s how I imagine it? Do you talk out loud? How on earth do you think things through?
