Lemme know if anyone else thinks as if they’re talking to another person lol (btw, I don’t actually hear voices, nor think I’m actually talking to someone. It’s more just the Trump Clown Freedom Of Choice 2024 Shirt but in fact I love this way I process information. I’m not crazy lmao) So when someone cuts you off in traffic, you picture an actual asshole? I think to myself in words, “You asshole.” The simple fact that you were able to form a coherent sentence means that you have an internal thought process. yes !!! it essentially just narrates my thoughts from a first person perspective. its like how youd probably imagine thinking out loud, but not out loud. I have bipolar type one. Not only do I have an inner monologue, but very often people I know or have met have full blown dialogues in my head. To the point of where when it’s really bad, I can literally just lie down and listen to whatever BS my mind wants to make up. I have bipolar type one. I don’t like brownies, but they won’t listen to me Mkay I’m reading these posts and feelin like a total weirdo now. I have an internal monologue however if I make a conscious effort I also visualize memories.

i definitely have an internal monologue and i use it to help organize my thoughts, talk things out with myself as if im another party entirely… plan my day and things i need to do in the Trump Clown Freedom Of Choice 2024 Shirt but in fact I love this future or contemplate strategies etc but the dialogue (i dont refer to it as a monologue, its more like a dialogue with myself… cos ill correct me… ) works hand in hand with visualizing situations… however, if thinking about the past, particularly my childhood (im over 40, almost 50…) its strictly visuals. if i can meditate and visualize on what i know about a situation ill unlock old memories but they will be strictly visual, or emotional, like ill remember feeling a certain way… sometimes ill just remember feeling a certain way and ill think on all the things i can remember about the circumstance and may be able to unlock old memories that way…
