The characters i draw are my children to me. I want my life to focus on me and its alot of responsibility. I will spend my time creating vulgar art. I don’t wanna ruin my body first of all I don’t see myself as a mother secondly my Genes are bad I don’t want to have someone suffer as me and third I don’t like raising children I want to be free I will spend my time traveling trying new things talking to a lot of ppl try to improve in my career also having children to just waste your time is a bad idea I have a lot of genetic medical conditions that cause me to be ina lot of pain almost constantly Why would I want to put a kid through that? I have no trouble filling my time. Frankly, I don’t know where I would get the Tow Truck Driver Yellow Line Daddy Us Flag Distressed shirt But I will love this time to have kids. I have dozens of personal goals, relationships, hobbies and causes I participate in that I would presumably have to give up, and plenty more I’m still planning to get around to when I find the time. I have 2 careers and 2 animals and I will spend my time collecting more animals hopefully I didnt really decide not too , but just ran out of time waiting for the right time , life happened one day I realised I was 45 and no longer able to have a child . I really regret not going for it now dont think you have loads of time you might not have Long story as short as possible: I did think I wanted children when I was younger because I thought it checked some kind of milestone box that ALL adults do. What ended up happening is I got involved with an intimate partner who was an emotional and financial abuser. He kept telling me we couldn’t move forward in life with any of the usual milestones (marriage/home/kids) because I wasn’t good enough and/or I would be bad at them, and I believed him for almost ten years. Luckily one day I woke up and got away and started living my best life. When I met and decided to marry my now husband, he gave me the choice of if we had kids or not. He is older and he already raised children, but he said if I needed it, we would do it. I had the choice between arbitrarily having a kid to spite someone who is no longer in my life, or to heal from the trauma. I chose to heal.

Never have been a kid person. Just never had the Tow Truck Driver Yellow Line Daddy Us Flag Distressed shirt But I will love this desire to have kids. I have no clue what to do with them or what to say to them. I love my dogs. The political and economic state of the world is on fire and it would feel unfair to push that on to someone else. When I come home from work, I can’t deal with people for several hours. I’m emotionally, socially and physically tired and raw. Some days even my cats’ attention and touching feels like sandpaper against a sunburn. Having a child means I’d have to be constantly available to a small human. There will be clinging. There will be loud, painful noises. There will be gross bodily fluids. I would feel extremely trapped and it would only be a matter of time before I would fall into a psychosis.

Didn’t have any interest because I didn’t want to go thru pregnancy and didn’t want to go thru – well – any stage of raising them. The cost. The sleepless nights. The bodily fluids. The chance they might be shits no matter how good you try to raise em. Well, I’ve been with the same guy for 30+ years, and we are both early retired. He retired a few months before he turned 55 (after working 3 days a week for the few years before that) and I haven’t worked full time since 2012, and I worked a little part time at Xmas for 5 yrs or so, haven’t worked at all since 2019. We travel. I took up some new hobbies – mainly, cycling and writing fanfics. It’s awesome. We’ve had dogs (on dog 4 now) and we’re content.

There is absolutely not a single extremely tiny pro to have one. Soooooo many cons and such high possibility to mess up a life. So many parents do that to their kids, even those who try hard to be good parents, let alone the Tow Truck Driver Yellow Line Daddy Us Flag Distressed shirt But I will love this negligent ones who inflict huge amounts of trauma. Why: I’m born and raised in a third world country, and I’m poor. Not planning on breaking my back to barely provide for a kid. How will I spend my time: exactly how I’ve been doing it so far, with my SO, reading, playing videogames, cooking, etc. I have a hereditary condition called Myotonic Dystrophy and when I found that out I decided that it would end in me I wouldn’t want any children of mine to suffer how I do. Quite frankly anyone who has a hereditary condition that they knew about and then had children are very selfish.
My wife and I want to travel. Much easier without a kid and much cheaper. It is already a pain in thr butt finding hotels that allow dogs or finding an available friend or family member to take care of them while we are away. My partner and I are DINKs with a relentless passion for travelling. We love nature and exploring obscure countries to immerse ourselves in all kinds of different cultures everywhere! We hiked in Laos, explored the south coast of England, checked out amazing restaurants in Montreal, and surfed in Indonesia. The highlight was a long backpacking trip starting in Uzbekistan, through Kyrgyzstan, ending in Kazakhstan. Our upcoming plans include a surf trip to Sri Lanka and a few more in Indonesia. Apologies for digressing! Anyway- if children were in the picture.. our travels would be a logistical nightmare and we would not have been able to have half the meaningful experiences we did. As a childfree couple- we prefer to avoid crowds and kids by going to places off the beaten path! Our interests are not child-friendly at all, which is the best part because we rarely encounter kids during our travel activities! I love surfing, diving, hiking, travelling, and my career (that allows me to do all this) more than I ever enjoyed being around kids, so this decision was a no brainer for me 🙂
I think I’d make a good dad but life has become to expensive. I love my time here on Earth to be spent travelling, rescuing and adopting cats and dogs, riding horses, planting trees and plants, reading all the books I want, making Art, and partying it up! I also would rather go shopping than worry about “my legacy/bloodline/society” I feel like it’s irresponsible of me to put a child into the world when there are too many people and too many children who are already suffering. I want to live a peaceful life with my husband. We have decided to get a few animals to keep us company. I’m the cat mom and he’s the dog dad. That being said, I do understand people who want children. I like and appreciate children. I could adopt a kid, if we ever decided we wanted kids after all. I will definitely watch your kid on the weekends and haul them up a mountain. But I’m very happy being the weird aunt who you go to to lie on the porch and go on adventures in the forest with. I care for older people and from what I see, just stay busy with something physical that keeps you engaged with a variety of people. Greeter at a Big Box store while gardening at home or maybe make small wooden kids toys and sell them at a flea market. One of the people I care for flips houses and does all the work himself. He buys some really junk houses and pays too much for them then does all the work himself. 2-3 hours of work at a time, twice a day; one room at a time; high end work and materials though. He has diabetes and a few other health issues so he gets worn out fast and sometimes at a bad moment.
