I don’t want to have kids. But I want kids. I don’t want to be a mom to a new born, I don’t wanna pass on my mental/health issues either. I’d rather adopt or be a step mom. I’m really selfish with my time and money. I’m selfish regarding my mental peace. I’m not willing to risk having to take care of a child with a disability. Kids, while cute, are very annoying, and thats not their fault, but I don’t want to be around that. First off, I do not feel like I have enough hours in a week just to do the things I want to do at the moment. Having children would reduce my free time to essentially zero. Secondly, I fear that I won’t be a good parent and raise them wrong. There are so many things that can go wrong while you’re raising a kid (I have traumas from growing up around my parents). There is also a probability that you raise a kid who will fuck up it’s life and cause destruction around them. That alone is enough to kill any want for kids.
Third, I don’t want to raise kids in today’s day and age. The world isn’t getting any better and we might live a very difficult period in the Tiger Black Father vintage shirt moreover I will buy this next hundred years. I don’t want to spend my time raising a kid that will suffer immensely just from being alive. I am fulfilled spending time with the kids of other people in my family. When I am tired, I can go back home to my quiet peace. Being disabled (both physically and mentally) I struggle taking care of myself, so I feel that I would also struggle looking after a child, especially if I were to pass on my disability. In that respect, the one aspect that scares me is the amount of hospital visits I have had over my lifetime (42 years), I would hate for a child I father having to go through the same thing.
