Back in the This For All U Jets Haters shirt moreover I will buy this day, I used to be considered quite weird for liking these true crime shows. When I would tell people that killing someone with arsenic is basic AF, they would think I was nuts. Now I say this and I have several people speak and tell me their opinion of arsenic as a murder weapon. The thing is, I am weird. I am a weird, weird woman. But I also have my feet on the ground and have a somewhat reasonable understanding of my feelings and opinions. There are so many, many true crime fans who use true crime the same way I do Star Wars or manga. It is fine and fun to create theories and learn about things, but these are real cases and real people. It’s harmless if I believe that Omega will be revealed to be Rey’s grandma or if I predicted the truth about Tobi. But when you start applying this same theorizing to real life people, it starts to get creepy.

And this right here is why women who put that they are super into true crime in their dating profiles are a swipe left for me, dog. What, are you listening for ideas and inspiration‽ She wanted to commit “the This For All U Jets Haters shirt moreover I will buy this perfect crime” but then paid a taxi driver take her to a secluded wooded area to dispose of the remains. The taxi driver then alerted authorities. “killer’s voice being dubbed over by some 40 year old man: I thought it was pretty poggers, felt pretty bussin” So her idea of a perfect crime included casually taking a cab to a remote forest area while carrying a suitcase dripping blood? Attempts to commit a perfect crime. Proceeds to take a taxi to dump the evidence AND be suspicious enough for the driver to report to the police. Poor victim and their family. Sounds like she was mentally disturbed. And should probably be getting help instead of being left to rot away in a box. On one hand I can understand the curiosity of what it feels like to kill someone in that morbid call of the void way. In much the same way one might wonder what its like to be dead themselves. 207 more repliesAfter listening to a bunch of true crime, I kinda understand how it flicks the switch in some people’s brains. Scary.
