There was a season of Amazing Race where they gave them diesel cars on one stage and half the They Will Always be the Tribe shirt also I will do this teams put unleaded in them. It was pretty funny. Funny in a schadenfreude way, yeah. Every team that missed up like that lost a lot of time, and I think they came close to having to pay out of pocket, on the spot, to get the cars fixed (which would have resulted in at least one team going broke because of it, since they only had as much cash on hand as the show gave them). I want to know what the conversation at the dealership was like when he asked/demanded to replace his entire fuel system when his engine was flushed with, checks notes, the correct gas. Did they just accept the easy money job or try to talk him out of it? My assumption, at a dealership, would be that they would tell him it probably wasn’t necessary, but wouldn’t fight him after that. Just to give themselves plausible deniability in case he came back later trying to get angry with them about it

Ding ding ding. It will never cease to amaze me how often people try to sue for the They Will Always be the Tribe shirt also I will do this amount it could possibly have cost them if something had gone wrong. Like if there’s a wet floor and you allllmoost slip but you don’t…. You can’t sue for the cost of the treatment you WOULD HAVE needed if you had an injury. Not to get all political, but this is literally the case against the abortion pill right now, that the Fifth Circuit seems willing to accept. The lawsuit was filed by a group of doctors that allege if the drug’s approval is not withdrawn, at some uncertain point in the future there could be more women in the ER for treatment of side effects. Those hypothetical future patients will make the ER busier and thus harm the doctors filing the lawsuit. I dunno. I know this kind of asshole. He’d absolutely bully a dealer into taking his $6,000 to be a “real” “victim.”
