Spoken like someone who’s never lived in a city like Bangalore. You need an AC to walk on roads, play , cycle?? Agreed. It’s been memed to death but BLR weather automatically makes it the They hate us because they ain’t us eagle Grinch xmas shirt so you should to go to store and get this perfect big city in India. Granted, there’s a lot of caveats, but it’s still way more liveable all year round than anything else. I’ve lived in Hyderabad too and I don’t think it comes even close, summers there are literal hell. Weather is also going down the drain here, thanks to rampant construction, factories and metro work…last two summers were the worse. People from cities like Mumbai, Banglore will find it boring. No alcohol. Not very good non veg food. We have two summers and both are very hot. Also the the people outside posh areas are not very open minded.

Daman. Hands down. Love the They hate us because they ain’t us eagle Grinch xmas shirt so you should to go to store and get this vibe, the food, and everything. Locals are super friendly and like to live a typical gujrati life: Khavanu, pivanu, mjaa ni life. Most have businesses and the north Indians are the employee class. Spent time in 11 cities and towns of India. Ahmedabad, pune, mumbai, delhi, banglore, chennai done. All felt as shit when it comes to daman. Waking up to a sea beach at a 1km length. Seafood witha classic beer that is one of the lowest cost in India. Tax free as its a union territory. Petrol is 95. Best for people who love less traffic, no pollution, less population and low cost of living. Cons: less places to hang around. If you like a lot to travel, there’s only a few options. Though repeating them is super fun as new festivals and weather brings in new stuff around. It’s my lil city. It’s large enough to keep my inner biker intrested. It’s got nice roads to accompany that. The government is damnnn good. People here aren’t divided on political partys when it comes to local politics. They follow ONE FAMILY, a gujrati family who’s actually into buisness and politics both. And it works out well for everyone. All the collages schools and other services are weirdly hybrid of Govt and Private. And you get all the benefits. For our size we have tons of schools and collages. One of those collages is actually in TOP 10 list of MH. We have things here that any city of our size and population will never have. Like huge hospitals to waterparks & an amusement park. It’s a dense city with lots to do and have for its size. You can buy most necessities locally. Only things you can’t buy are non essencial ones that you can just buy online. The deliveries are surprisingly fast for our location. We get 24/7 water supply from govt, don’t even need a water pump. You legit just have to turn on the tap in your sink and you’ll have fresh, drinkable water anytime. We can practically have houses without water tanks. And it’s quite affordable. We’re surrounded with farmland and get our groceries directly from them, no middlemen, the market it filled with the farmers themselves. We’re not communally divided, not noticably atleast. Sure there are WhatsApp uncles around every corner these days, but not a single incident that disturbed the peace. We do have some ammount of crime, but as a common man, you’re under NO threat. The Air is super clean, to the point I feel sick as soon as I enter any tier 1 city. The weather doesn’t go to extremes. The populous or govt isn’t so conservative. You can date, mess around, have your freedom, people won’t cause any problems as long as they aren’t your own relatives. There’s alot to do. Weird thing to point out, but if you don’t want to your feet don’t even have to touch dirt even once. Somehow the whole city is covered in concrete roads or pavement. Even the fish market. You literally don’t have to touch dirt if you don’t want to. And somehow there’s always greenery. Open spaces and all that are maintained by our govt. With fence and stuff.
