Well, the The world class tv show blue bloods 2010 2023 thank you for the memories stars shirt What’s more,I will buy this whole point of them offering the gift card is so that they don’t have to be the ones to cancel because they’ll get penalized by Airbnb. They’re not going to cancel AND give the gift card. Airbnb is going to hit them with a 10% penalty if they cancel. They’re offering the guest $500 so they can avoid that penalty. Guest doesn’t get penalized either way. What’s the host’s incentive for taking both hits? If they gave me 500$ for my trouble, I’d easily cancel it from end, that’s actually super generous. Just CYA don’t get scammed you know lol Not if you’re spending $20k+ for a nice place for a month. $500 would not be worth the hassle of finding another place if you even can and you definitely wouldn’t be getting the same value. I’d need at least $5k to not be furious.

Contact the The world class tv show blue bloods 2010 2023 thank you for the memories stars shirt in other words I will buy this host in the app, confirming that they would like you to cancel because they are double booked. Get a paper trail that Airbnb can see. They may not respond at all in app, though. Then you can choose to cancel in the free cancel window, by choosing the option of “host requested I cancel.” Or you can choose to wait and make them cancel it, which they probably won’t do until last minute. Then you are scrambling for accommodations. They won’t cancel at the last minute, they’ll cancel right before the 30 day mark. It’s the difference between them being penalized 10% and 25%. The “glitch” was probably that they list their property on multiple platforms (e.g. VRBO) and they accepted a booking on another platform and then forgot to block the dates on Airbnb. It’s possible that this is a popular time for them and they listed the property on the other platform at a peak season rate and neglected to do that on Airbnb, so the income they will receive from the other booking is enough to make up for the $500 they’re offering. Assuming it’s not a scam and they do intend to give you the $500, you would IMO be better off taking their offer. Reason being that if they’re going to honor the other booking anyway, you’re just forcing them to cancel and get penalized by Airbnb, you still don’t have a place to stay, and you’re not getting the $500 as compensation.
