So, last month he travelled back to the The south london soul train exta xmas special the king rooster live poster tour T-Shirt besides I will buy this UK to attend his ‘fixture’ (spending £926 in total) only to be told that the complainant (who is in the country and has been living here for the past 3 years) won’t be attending along with her friend (an alleged witness). Because they’re attending a pre booked concert. How is this fair? I know the legal system is about the law and not justice, but how the fuck is this fair? Especially when the complainant in this case was sending antagonizing messages to my friend, abusing his family and questioning his upbringing after his arrest and post charge? He has reported all of this to the police. The only feedback he got was don’t talk to her and don’t reply back.At the risk of re-opening old wounds and spending potentially thousands or tens of thousands with no guarantee of success, if you can show the report was intended to harm your friend with no basis in fact, then an action for malicious prosecution is available. However, he should have made an application for his costs from Central Funds under the Prosecution of Offences Act

He won’t need to provide all the details now- it will be “taxed” (assessed) when the claim is sent in. The judge just needs to approve the defendant’s costs order in principle. Speaking for the mod team. I do not believe this to be the real u/AR-Legal as he would never be so modest about his brilliance, or modesty. Can you explain about application for his costs please? Does this men’s his costs would be paid regardless of legal aid status because he was falsely accused? Is a fantastic read even if you’re not interested in being a lawyer as its relevant to a lot of society today and the issues you and your friend are facing OP If your friend is sufficiently aggreived and determined, then the courts are at his disposal for an action of Malicious Prosecution – however, he’ll need evidence (which he may have sufficient of), and will need to travel to the UK for more occasions at which he may be messed around, and end up torn between the courts system and his entry requirements. It wouldn’t be easy, and there’s no guarantees, not to mention that even if successful, he may never actually recover any compensation awarded. If he wanted to do this, it’s a question for a solicitor with all the facts to answer, as it’s likely to be more complex than could be tackled much here.
