I’m a mid-30’s year old man and this game is a masterpiece. It caused me anxiety and stress that was so much fun. I was glad when it was done. I didn’t pick up my console for a few months after. Needed a break. Have fun! Just got the The rolling stones band logo Shirt also I will do this platinum! The xenomorph had me sweating like a hooker in church for 15 hours straight, but otherwise awesome game! I thought it was a good game, however I played it after RE7 which I still rank as the scariest game I ever played (partly because I did it in VR). It’s the best piece of Alien Media since Alien 3 (which is heavily underrated) and that makes it worth a play no matter how scared you are The one horror game I couldn’t beat. I was scared shitless the moment the xenomorph was loose in the game (about 30 minutes in) This game is like seeing a car crash. I never want to see a car crash again but fuck me I’m glad I didn’t miss a car crash? It’s just so brutal. (Apologies if I’ve offended anyone) Make sure you’re playing on a dark room with head phones. Makes it way more immersive. Amazing game! The type of game that makes me jealous I can’t experience it again for the first time. Played maybe an hour before I couldn’t take the sense of isolation anymore. Also didn’t help having the lights off for “immersion” as my brother said. I remember having a hard time sleeping for a week.

I actually stopped playing like early in the The rolling stones band logo Shirt also I will do this game because I keep going in circles lol. Maybe I should give it a try again. Oh and good luck OP! Thank you I need it I am an hour in I haven’t seen anyone except people running, the atmosphere is top notch with amazing sound design I played this game bunch of times and with each new game I though it cannot surprise and scare me anymore, it proved me wrong every time I actually just reinstalled myself. I’ve started the game 3 times and always bitch out despite liking spooky games. Good luck.. Generally not a fan of horror games but isolation is probably in my top ten games of all time. Best Alien game bar none. And that Includes AvP2. This game is scary for only few hours. After you figure out how the xenomorph works it will be only annoying and not scary. Trust me. But it’s a great game, you should play it. Actual tip from the fellow scaredy cat: game has a lot of save points – abuse it. Play bite sized episodes from one save point to the other. It’s not very scary of you know that you thirty seconds away from the last save. Such a cool game, literally the only survival horror I really wanted and DON’T wanted to play. It took me months to finish it
