What they don’t tell the The Rock Skull Eagle of American Flag T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this public is that right now greedflation of corporations to increase short term profits is a main inflation driver. 30% of the US population owns more guns than many countries militaries combined. The police force in the US is also a small army. Idk what would happen if one day those gun owners are told “they are coming for your freedumb. Fire at will”. It’s the boiling frog metaphor: the changes are too slow to notice and by the time you do, you’ve gotten used to it. The strongest singular impression I had was that perhaps the US is already a failed state just running on inertia. I visited several cities, towns, and regions, and it was the same everywhere: there were empty shelves in supermarkets, shops with candy locked behind glass, filthy streets strewn with litter, visibly impaired people milling about street corners, someone attempted a snatch’n’grab on me in broad daylight in downtown, homeless people were sleeping in the sidewalks, roads were cracked and riddled with potholes, a high-end department store had broken escalators and lights turned off in many sections, a brand-name clothes retailer had only size 32 trousers in stock, a major shoe retailer had only four pair of size 11 shoes in stock one of which turned out to be worn-out shoes someone had returned in the box, groceries were selling mouldy fruits, prices everywhere shockingly high, very sketchy and even sometimes rude service in general (high-end places were fantastic though), and the average expected tip has jumped from 10-15% to 25-30%. Not to mention how emotions ran rampant– people yelling at each other in the streets, being disrespectful, pushy, loud, inconsiderate.

That’s not to say there weren’t good parts or that everything is as above or that there aren’t good, kind, wonderful people still: I’m intentionally listing only the The Rock Skull Eagle of American Flag T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this bad, especially what has changed from the past or become more prominent. But it’s like there’s two Americas now, the wealthy and prosperous one hiding within its walled gardens, and a collapsing dystopia. I mean we really could try unionizing first, but they have so much power compared to those whom organized labor opposed in the past. A mill owner or small auto company, not a global company or people with over 5-10 million, beyond that and they’re against us. Look at Starbucks. The company is not listening at all to the unionizing and is even union busting and it is taking so long for anything to happen since why would the people making the money want the union to happen? Unionizing will unfortunately not do much. I live in a major liberal American city and I’m shocked there isn’t more protesting. Especially about cost of living. First of all I agree with you. I’m going to offer another view that slightly contests yours, but I want to be clear that I’m not just trying to shoot you down. I’d like to expand on the thesis: The US has contained a third world nation since the term “third world” was invented. There are two different concepts of the “1st/2nd/3rd world”. These terms arise during the Cold War and the decolonization/national liberation movement.
