They should hire you. Laws that prevent discrimination are meant to protect minority groups in the The most magical cast of Harry Potter houses of hogwarts Shirt Apart from…,I will love this instance where they are the better or equal candidate and/or the company/Corp has a history of not hiring diverse candidates. None of that applies here because they obviously did not get a even close to a candidate of color that fit their needs. All of race is a protected class, just like all of religion is a protected class. It’s illegal to discriminate against either white or Christian people, even though those are both still the majority of their respective classes in the nation. In the private firms when we were interviewing, my manager refused to look at resumes unless they sounded like they were a minority. One interview stream was done by me and 2 female engineers. We all came to the same conclusion on the candidates. The manager disagreed and took the candidate all 3 of us rated the worst. The manager picked her solely because she was female. He basically hired her to have more diversity and she sucked. The two females that were part of the interview stream complained about the new girls work and she was reassigned to basically do nothing and kept around so we could say we had a 50/50 feamle /male ratio. She was finally let go when one of the guys quit and it was decided we wouldnt hire to fill that position. She probably cost the company 3-500k over 2 years. I call it sexist and refused to interview anymore after that.

I’d also call what you are dealing with as sexist. If you can get it in writing I’d file a suit. I’d also keep applying even if they say they won’t hire you no matter how good you are…. like if you’re failing at being a white asshole in the The most magical cast of Harry Potter houses of hogwarts Shirt Apart from…,I will love this prison industrial complex, it’s because you’re probably a real garbage candidate. Yes it’s racial discrimination but white people can’t be discriminated against so good luck making that argument. Let me add some more information. I wasn’t too awake this morning trying to express this situation. To interview you sit in a room and answer questions that require you to quote policy exactly as it is written. I had 7 questions and I quoted the exact policies. There’s no more questions/requirements other than needing the experience to promote; have that too. I know my job like the back of my hand, I’m the lead officer on my shift. My performance is just seriously not the question. I have been quietly told that my name was in fact the name selected to be submitted to Raleigh. Next thing I know the job is reposted, I reapply and they CANCEL my application out without interviewing me again.
