I do on the The Kraken Shirt Besides,I will do this bus or places that still require them. I have no problem putting one on tho if asked. I keep a few in my bag just in case Yep. I have a decent immune system and am vaccinated/boosted. But I’ve enjoyed not having a single cold or flu in the last 2 years, much less covid and it’s possible long-term complications, so I continue to mask indoors in public settings. yes if I’m somewhere around lots of people. I also didn’t get boosted as I was severely depressed and agoraphobic. I made ten — that’s right — ten apptmts to get boosted and finally gave up. I never did work up the courage to go into a CVS so I guess if I can ever find a walk-in place I’ll jump at the chance, but I never go anywhere anyway. So I do wear a mask for sure. Yes, because cases dropping ≠ COVID not being harmless. Additionally, because people clearly can’t be trusted to stay home when they get sick (either because they feel obligated to leave home for legitimate reasons or simply because they’re an inconsiderate asshole), this means that someone could spread COVID at any moment. Plus, I haven’t had it yet (and therefore don’t know what to expect for myself), and my grandparents are immunocompromised, so if the rest of society isn’t gonna give a crap about their wellbeing and my own, then that just leaves me to do what I can to protect them and myself.

I work front desk at a hotel that offers a discount for hospital patients, so we get a lot of guests who are immunocompromised, in addition to being very young and very old in general. Some of them, I’ve known for years. I’ve met their families, they send me Christmas cards, etc. I’m 37, in good health, double-vaxxed and boosted… I’m pretty sure I’ll be okay if I get COVID, so I do it for them. I don’t just mask up, either – we have glass shields separating us from all guests and I use nitrile gloves constantly. I go through more than our cooks. Almost 3 years into this thing and I’ve yet to have the The Kraken Shirt Besides,I will do this virus, despite working closely with someone who did have it 2 years ago. Sometimes, OCD pays off, LOL
