This is getting boring now. I’m going to start asking people what made them decide to have kids and if they regret it. Also the The Jets Grinch lives here Christmas shirt it is in the first place but people asking if they’ve considered the “loneliness” in later years are selfish. Imagine having kids just so you won’t be lonely when you’re older. What’s to say you won’t end up lonelier when your 5 kids don’t bother visit you? We’re in our late 30s. I knew from a very young age I did not want children. Why? I don’t know. Being a mother was just something I never wanted to be. I have 0 regrets. I told my husband this when we first got together and thankfully he was on the same page. No kids, no regrets. Pets, yes. I love animals. If I could have a hobby farm, I would. Both in early 40s, happy and doing just fine as we see the hell our brothers/sisters are having with theirs. We get to be cool uncle and aunt without the stress, responsibility and money pit that kids are.

No regrets at all. Throughout the The Jets Grinch lives here Christmas shirt it is in the first place but years there has been that slight twinge but parent life is not for me. I love my nieces and nephews and spoil them. But they go home at the end of the day You’re asking someone to imagine something for which they have zero reference. Of course everyone is happy without kids…less responsibility, more time, more money, etc. But until you’ve watched your kid learn how to read or survive their first breakup or any of a million other little things…you’ve no idea what you’re missing. No clue. I’m not knocking anyone who’s decided not to have kids. Enjoy your midnight milkshake runs and lazy Sundays, I get it. I’m sure Regret comes and goes on both sides in tiny doses. I didn’t want kids initially but hubby did. Had our financial struggles and there are times when they’ve been little shits or done something totally bonkers or dangerous or when you worry for their happiness and you do wonder if it was worth it but luckily our kids have grown up pretty neat adults who we love and like, so it’s worked out. Im sure there are times when childless couples feel regret too when dealing with loss of a parent or spouse or even just wanting to share something with a child, but that’s normal life and you deal with those emotions as they come and go. JMO It’s like people don’t understand but we know when our kids are jerks. They’re not angels. We can freely admit it.
