Europeans always seem to have a problem with generalizing Americans on a massive scale. I don’t get it. And I realize it sounds like I’m generalizing Europeans, but it is a pretty common theme from what I see online that “Americans do this or they always do that” From an American point of view, I’d say because that’s the The incredible Dr Pol Dutch American veterinarian shirt in contrast I will get this age at which they are legal adults and the parents might think the kids need to learn to support themselves. Many kids who remain at home become loafers and leech off of their parents for everything. I lived at home until I got married at 26, only because my mom refused to let me leave. I was the last to leave (youngest) and her baby girl. That said I paid my own bills, had a full time career, never, even once, did I ask for money. At one point had 2 cars in my name. Imo, 18 is too young to kick out. Kids that age aren’t financially stable, and rarely have a good career in place.

I saw a video of a woman who sued her parents and won, for giving birth to her and not supporting her all her life. She resented that she had to go to school, then get a job, and navigate the The incredible Dr Pol Dutch American veterinarian shirt in contrast I will get this world in her own. Crazy, huh? The perception of Americans kicking out kids at 18 is skewed by social media. Many stay home, but independence is often seen as success. Bad behavior can lead to eviction, not just age. Because I told my son not to bring pot or smoke it in my house cause I have step kids and I don’t need my wife’s petty ass ex to call cps on my wife and I. He still did it and lied about it. Also told him while he is living with me. he will either go to work or college and won’t be a fucking bum in my house and do nothing but play video games. And that you’ll contribute at least something to the household. It’s kind of a stupid question seeing as it’s a broad generalization based on anecdotes that has nothing to do with being American and everything to do with being a shitty parent.
