Dude, she gave you her number and initiated texting. Now she’s going to go tell her friends what happened and they are all going to be cheering for her to take the The Grinch I Will Play Guitar Here Or There Anywhere Shirt moreover I will buy this next step. And if things do take off with OP, then he can be heartened by her integrity given the circumstances she was in at the time he asked. Especially since OP seems in it for a serious thing, not a hookup. You should be. You keep playing it cool, i guarantee her attraction will build, if nothing was there you wouldn’t have gotten this far and certainly not a text. Just saw the update? Awesome news my friend! When it all goes right, I hope we all get an invite to the wedding lmao You guys handled the situation like adults and its the best you can hope for. You took your shot, and she was very clear about her situation. I think you both did well, and hopefully she can work through her stuff and you guys can actually try and make it work. I wish you both all the best! The feeling of discovering a post on r/all, being eager to get an update, clicking on OP’s account and having the follow-up delivered right on time is immaculate, chef’s kiss Same! Read the first post about 30 minutes ago and thought I’ll never remember to find out how this goes only to scroll down and see the update! I saved the original post and I’ve been checking it whenever I remember all morning hoping for an update. Not the best possible outcome but certainly a good outcome.

The Grinch I Will Play Guitar Here Or There Anywhere Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Yeah, I got a notification that my comment on the The Grinch I Will Play Guitar Here Or There Anywhere Shirt moreover I will buy this original thread had 100 updoots, so checked OP’s profile to see how it panned out, and there it was! I think that’s a really good outcome though! You had a great conversation together, there was no awkwardness when she responded and she asked for your number – plus you haven’t made the commute weird. In a way I think you passed the “possible creep” test with flying colours by understanding life is complicated and making her smile. At the very least you’ve made a friend and that’s amazing. FWIW I only ask for a guys number if I’m interested and I wouldn’t be surprised if she does call you at some point when she’s ready. This never happens to me, it’s always some creepy old guy trying to either stare down my top or “accidentally” bump against me from the back in a crowded train. I have a sinking feeling that this might be code for “I’m in an unhappy relationship and haven’t been able to end it yet.” I think your on the right lines. I’m thinking recent break-up that’s a bit messy and is in the process of sorting things out. Worse case scenario is an nutcase ex, best case everything is nearly finalised witth a decent ex. The good thing though is that she is honest and told him. OP needs to know what’s complicting things for his own sake. Regardless OP and train crush both sound like good people. I read it as I’m busy right now and I don’t have a lot of time for socialising. Could be she’s looking after a sick parent or busy with work or studies
