I couldn’t have been the The Good The Bad The Ugly 55th anniversary thank you for the memories signature T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this only one who expected us to see Kendall falling behind the window when they were taking pictures with Tom and Lukas. That or I thought he would drown in a freak accident when he was sprawled out on the floating dock while Roman and Shiv were debating what to do Honestly it does help to slightly recontextualize his relationship with Logan as well as Logan’s comment to Tom that his only job was to give him a grandson. I can’t believe exactly why I love this show so much is the exact brutality that gave me the ending I didn’t want He knew that putting Tom as CEO was his ultimate move. Removing Shiv from his board but knowing she was never going to concede her vote to Kendall. Of course Lukas picked Tom, any other candidate would keep Shiv in rage. He had nothing to lose. MY GOD WHAT A MOVE. I see a lot of comments on here about Shiv’s choice being based on a “power move” or desiring more influence through Tom than she would have if Kendall were CEO, or the fact that she’s comfortable in the shadow of Tom as she was in the shadow of her father. The problem with that is that Tom has no real power or influence. He’s not the new Logan – Mattson is. Tom was chosen because he would be the most unobstructive mouthpiece for Mattson. Also, Mattson hasn’t evidenced a ton of loyalty, so how is it a power move to operate through someone who can likely be fired in a heartbeat? As opposed to having control of ATN, which is right in her wheelhouse and the object of her political hatred? Nah, this was either some sort of weird love for Tom or out and out spite for Kendall.
