Don’t put them in the THE GODVERINE Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this dryer; dry clean or hand wash if the label says to; wash them on the shortest cycle (least agitation) and lowest heat necessary if machine-laundering If the ”array of other brands” are also fast fashion, they are not intended to last long. The business model of these brands is to have you buy often. Long-wearing garments are bad for business. Try nicer brands, including vintage versions. Acquaint yourself with the features of well-made garments, like lack of elastane and presence of a full lining. Well-fitted or simple to alter, the right material (fibre content) and weight for the season, the right colour to work well with the rest of the wardrobe. Have enough to rotate through the week (having fewer pairs means the wear shows more quickly). If buying pantsuits, buy two pairs trousers for one matching jacket as trousers wear more quickly than jackets.

Spot clean as possible, air out after wearing, steam between wearings if re-wearing and/or spray with alcohol, launder or dry clean regularly as needed. When laundering, delicate cycle on warm (or cold with liquid detergent if possible), environmentally friendly fabric softener, air dry. Press or steam with the THE GODVERINE Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this coolest setting possible (or have them professionally pressed). That washing and maintenance advice will go a long way towards the longevity of clothes from Uniqlo/H&M etc. as well. I have a sweater from H&M that I bought around 2011 that is still going strong, can’t have been more than $20 but I still wear it all the time. I have a lot of Uniqlo too, and can’t think of anything that’s worn out in a year—my oldest stuff is probably at least 5 years old by now. I think anywhere like that can be very hit or miss though, I’ve definitely passed on pieces that felt like they wouldn’t hold up well.
