I think that ultimately, there aren’t that many homes that are using fake grass, and there are plenty of other things that are contributing to pollution that need tackling. Children’s toys, single use water bottles, unnecessary packaging of certain food items, etc.. In these cases there are workarounds that don’t really impact people’s enjoyment. Focus on making children’s toys with more sustainable items such as renewable wood, limit use of of single use bottles, rethink packaging, or at the very least use recycled materials. Banning fake grass could have very real impacts on the people who use it, limiting their options for enjoying space outside.
