The Continental New York Allowed Hotel T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Why couldn’t you do this for yourself? I know I do. I have days where I fail to meet my own expectations and I’m patient with myself the way I would be with a partner or a close friend.Because the goal matters so much to me, compassion is basically saying it’s alright not to get what matters that much to you. I care about my loved ones expectations and whether they meet them or not, but ultimately they aren’t mine so I’m far more likely to say it’s alrightCompassion isn’t saying that at all. Compassion is saying you did your best to achieve that goal but you are still whole and complete even though you didn’t. It doesn’t mean you don’t try again, it just means you don’t tie your self-worth to achieving the goal. That’s called having standards for yourself.
