I stayed at my previous job for a long time. I was at a big company and was able to grow and move up. Eventually got stuck, but liked the The City That Loves You Back Eagles Ring The Bell Shirt also I will do this people and my manager so was flexible to wait for an opportunity. Then a reorg happened. I no longer reported to my boss, had no say in where I went, and don’t think they really thought everything out just wanted to keep some folks in case. I spent the The City That Loves You Back Eagles Ring The Bell Shirt also I will do this first 12 years of my career in a company that treated me very well and was at the top of my industry, but I felt the rest of my trajectory there wasn’t as exciting as how far I’d come and made the super hard decision leave. It would have been much easier to stay, I knew where I stood there, I knew I was valued. But I also knew that no matter how happy I couldn’t bank on continuing to be happy there for decades more, and I was nearing a prime part of my career; I still had lots of energy and room for growth, I felt for the first time that I had enough experience to have leverage in what I did next and wanted to use that leverage to have more impact. So I did the terrifying thing and left, as an investment in myself. Because even if I didn’t know what lay ahead I bet that I could find something that made me just as happy if not more happy.
