On the Thats What I Do I Fix Stuff And I Know Things T-Shirt but in fact I love this other hand, my carrier offered me more than I paid in the first place as trade in credit, so I’m basically getting a free S22 in return for a phone I’ve used for three and a half years that is no longer getting security updates. I’m not sure how this is economically feasable and I’m still not happy about having to switch to Bluetooth headphones, but I’ll take it. My phones last this long but only because I take extreme care of them from the beginning. I’m talking I buy case(s) for it with complete protection before I even get the phone, ip68 rating for any potential water drops and just natural extra care for it daily makes the life of it last extremely long. I do agree though phone durability and quality needs to be maxed out and phone companies need to stop seeking profit at all costs while selling us phones that last a year or two so they can do it all over again. It’s such a useless waste of valuable resources.

It boggles my mind that Apple can claim what design geniuses they, yet designed a protect that requires 3rd party case to proper protect it. The fact my Nokia 5190 STILL can get service and work, is telling of a few thing. One, that the Thats What I Do I Fix Stuff And I Know Things T-Shirt but in fact I love this Nokia is acting like a Nokia and of course it still works, and two, that there is even a network still operating T-Mobile’s “2G” service (I use this loosely because T-Mo’s 2G isn’t quite what it says it is, if you ask an AT&T person, so I don’t want to get in the middle of that whole thing lol). But seriously, I just take the SIM card out of my 5G Mint Mobile phone, put it in the Nokia, and it got full service. I tried driving around to see how reliable that network even is anymore, and while there certainly are a few dead spots, where it did get full service the smart phone struggled to get half (on occasion it matched the Nokia, but on others it was flipped around).
