Cities are spread flat but are small in the That Perfect Lawn Not The Mower The Mani Man On Riding Mower T-Shirt in contrast I will get this key areas. We have a low population and not many settlements. There’s not a lot to see, do or be taking part in unless you’re going to some of the over priced tourist spots. Entertainment areas are shit and underserved. Landlords of all nature, residential and corporate, stifle anything from growing that would attract people to NZ for a bite of the lifestyle we have. You can get very far away from civilisation very quickly here, be prepared to be on your own. Could you survive on what’s in your car right now if the river came up and you were stuck for a few days? My friend spent 5 extra days on a camping trip like that a couple years ago. Even if you yourself are a person of colour and have the best and most progressive of intentions, please don’t come over and instantly assume you’re best friends with Māori people or that we need your solidarity, education or rescuing.

We like a degree of privacy and respect, we aren’t just a photo opportunity, a reference in Moana or dying to hear all your hot takes. Please just treat us like people. It is quite normal to walk around everywhere barefoot (or at least tollerated)….it doesn’t mean the That Perfect Lawn Not The Mower The Mani Man On Riding Mower T-Shirt in contrast I will get this person is really poor The obvious one is that it’s not as clean and green as it’s made out to be. Not even close. We are not really a progressive society. Kiwis are very socially awkward, without alcohol. Kiwis are quite uptight or offended by public affection, nudity at beaches etc. The over influence of sport has led to hyper competitiveness in the wrong areas, ie bad aggressive driving, while at the same time not celebrating winners, ie tall poppy syndrome. People also think we do the best BBQs on the planet but have quite clearly never tasted USA, South American or Asian BBQ. Just a few things. Just one thing about the driving. The latest research they did on the population of agressive driving in NZ found that we have a higher level of ‘risk taking” individuals than other countries. This was released by the NZ transport authority around 2008-2009. Then Victoria university of Wellington took their raw data and then researched if it’s possible that the colonisation process actually naturally selected ‘high risk taking’ individuals and this characteristic that allowed them to risk the journey also influences the high risk taking aspect of NZers today.
