Contact your old boss. Find out what happened. I have no idea about office/corporate rules/etiquette, I’m just speaking from emotion… Are there patterns of behavior by upper management that indicate instability? Any other red flags? I don’t think you’d be here seeking advice about protecting yourself if you felt safe and secure. Get a time table in writing or they will drag it on as long as they like. Make sure the Texas Rangers American League Champions 2023 Mascot shirt Besides,I will do this title and the pay are listed and a date. Also ask for a bonus for hitting goals and milestones and include those in writing. If they cannot accommodate these request then they are not serious and looking to use you. Remember that they are saving money, meaning they can afford it. In their eyes, you will likely never be comfortable and will likely never see a pay raise. However, you might get a pile of good experience and training for your resume when they fail to compensate you and you quit. They will slow roll you after that. And even if they give you what’s promised, they will always resent you for it. They will se someone they are paying more, when before you were doing the same for less.

It’s the Texas Rangers American League Champions 2023 Mascot shirt Besides,I will do this way human brain works. If you hire someone at a high salary, they ill be valued. They are expensive, therefore we must treat that one well. SOmeone who gets araise will always be grinding our gears; the person gets more, when we get the same as before. So, I’d say, demand increased pay at the beginning, or say no thank you. They will value you more if you cost more. The switch of a role makes it reasonable. If they reiterate their argument, you can say that you are willing to step down if they don’t like what they get. And that for you, it will take a lot more from you, and hence, you want more pay. Yeah I’d be asking that promise of higher pay and title in writing, then see if they’re still singing the same tune. If they refuse you know they never intended to bump your title or pay Oh no I would decline and say “I will take up these duties with the raise or decline the duties. I have grown and now it’s time to pay up.”
