I’ve worked for my company in management for approximately 4 years now. When I was hired I was given a wage and told they will draft up my contract. 4 weeks later I signed my contract and it was less than I was offered before taking the Texas Rangers 2023 American League Championship Series Winners Signatures Shirt Also,I will get this position. I was sour but figured I would prove my worth and demand more next year. I ended up being moved around in the company, same level of management just in a different area of the company that is a little more labor intensive both physically and mentally and has a higher pay cap. It was a new boss who offered me this position and once again we made an agreement on wage and he drafted up the contract. A week later when he called me up to sign it; I once again saw that it was less than we discussed and straight up refused to sign the contract. I told him they had one week to draft up a contract on the agreed upon terms or I quit. Half hour later I was signing a contract with everything that was offered to me. I’m a very hard worker (on vacation this week and still spent over 20 hours at work just for the sake of my team) but I am very open with the fact that I don’t quit jobs I quit bosses. I will almost always go the extra mile but i refuse to be disrespected by my bosses. My effort is for the sake of my team not for my employer.

I am rambling here a bit but my point is put yourself first; if I die today their only concerns are filling my position not looking out for my family. Consult legal advice if you have to but put yourself first when it comes to employment. Ask for it in writing. Tell them a probationary period is definitely reasonable but in the Texas Rangers 2023 American League Championship Series Winners Signatures Shirt Also,I will get this same reasoning and logic there must be a timeline with set compensation increase in writing. Research what your boss was making. Ask for the low end of the scale. I am guessing they let your boss go because they decided he/she was not adding enough value and you were already doing most of the job. You will be taking on conflict resolution and other management responsibilities. Maybe read some management books like 1 Minute Manager and The Three Signs of a Miserable Job.
