It’s especially hilarious when they do it to us girls. You have to study hard and be an awesome student and child, just to be able to marry a great wealthy guy and pop babies. That’s all your education (as a woman) is for. Luckily my parents leave me alone (for now). Tank For Tua Stain Tiger Scratch shirt helps me talk back a lot and grew up away from most Asian influences. This woman wanted her daughter to study medicine because “she’ll be well off married to a doctor with good income.” She outright said that she didn’t care if her daughter liked it or not, or if she worked as a doctor or not, as long as she got a doctor for a husband. “To me, paying her college is an investment to get her married”.

It’s insane what parents expect of us. Your guy cousins? They can fuck around all Tank For Tua Stain Tiger Scratch shirt lives until they eventually get a high-paying, prestigious job (doctor, engineer, lawyer, etc.) and then find a girl to marry. Us? From a young age, we have to help cook, clean, do all the domestic work. We have to go to school, get the same big careers as our male relatives, AND make ourselves presentable for marriage. Then we have to pop out babies while receiving no help from our lazy, entitled men who’ve always had everything handed to them by women.

Like my guy cousin can just find someone to have an arranged marriage with, but I have to learn to cook, lose weight, and become fluent in a different language, just to be considered for marriage. I can’t roll Tank For Tua Stain Tiger Scratch shirt hard enough. Then my parents wonder why I don’t associate with their culture. Also, in many Asian cultures, you basically end up as a servant/slave for not only your kids and your husband, but also your parents in law. One of the many reasons a lot of Korean women are choosing to forgo marriage entirely.
