Cuz if you allow kids to win about what they eat, then they will just eat sugar and fast food. Making kids eat reasonable and healthy food isn’t a problem. What you’re suggesting is force feeding which I dunno but that sounds like abuse 3: if you leave more than half of what I gave you, that can be refrigerated and it’s your next meal. I will not go out of my way to make stuff I know you don’t like, but not every meal is going to be your favorite either. 4: you’re not going to graze; if you’re done you’re done, your not going to say your done because you want to go play and then keep running back to the T.J. Watt Signature American football linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this table for more bites. 5: this isn’t a restaurant.. I’ll ask your opinion and everyone gets turns picking entrees and sides but in the end I’m making one meal; I’m not making mac and cheese for one kid and pizza for another kid and hot dogs for another kid when me and mom are having chicken.

That all being established; I’m not going to force the T.J. Watt Signature American football linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this kid to stay at the table if they insist they are full.. but if they’re walking away from a meal they’re walking away with these understandings. Shit parenting is why. Leads to eating disorders. There is a difference in making a kid try something new and making them eat past when they are done. Also, every person has foods they dont like but parents think kids have miracle taste buds that enjoy it all. Its all just morons without any self awareness or thinking skills. We don’t do this to our kids. Dinner is called family time. The expectation is time sitting together, minimum 20 minutes. If you’re hungry eat what we’ve made. If they eat they eat. We do a snack round at bedtime. Our daughter 2- eats dinner usually, still needs her snack. Our son is getting picky age 4, sometimes he skips dinner but wants to live on snacks. Whatever. Eating or not eating doesn’t have to be a big thing.
