You can do whatever in life as you wish, but I know several people (mostly women) in life that had been strongly against having children when they were under 30 but have had children when over 30. Those hormones are potent as f. Not having a child for these reasons is perfectly valid and it’s no one else’s business. I’m 34f and have never wanted kids. Even when I was around 6 or 7 I would say to people that I don’t want to have children. I’d always get “oh you’ll change your mind” or “one day, you’ll meet the Swoosh Hulk Nike parody shirt moreover I love this right man” and neither has happened. I have 2 cats, no kids and I’m totally fine with that. If you can’t feel confident in your decisions now, 50 years isn’t going to change anything. Live a good life, don’t be an ass and stop looking for a greener pasture. If you still have regrets after that it’s just anxiety. Before I had kids I felt bored, lost, and like I had no direction. Kids have given purpose to my life. I’m looking forward to the day that I am an empty nester but having kids have taught me more than I could have possibly imagined.

The world is ridiculously overpopulated right now and nothing about it is sustainable, especially long term. But even talking about the Swoosh Hulk Nike parody shirt moreover I love this present… we have just absolutely trashed the earth. I think until we find a better way to go about every day life without killing the planet to maintain our presence here, we need to cut back on the amount of new humans. Plus- there’s literally always going to be people who want kids. People hyper-focus on this topic as if to say literally the whole generation doesn’t want kids and that’s just silly. People who know off the bat they do not want children are doing themselves, the planet, and a child who could have been a favor. People who don’t want kids shouldn’t be pressed to have them.
