Nope and that was literally two years ago, I asked the Supernatural All Cast Signed 15th Anniversary 2005 2020, T-Shirt in contrast I will get this electrical engineer if he could do the work but he said he would have to submit his report to the landlord first and then come back with his permission. He never came back, same thing happened again with the boiler when I said it was faulty to the gas engineer he said he had to submit a report to the landlord then book another date to come back with me, i messaged him twice but he said he was waiting for a response From my landlord so I gave up. Thank you everyone’s comments have made me feel much better about the whole situation I’m literally twitching at this / it’s your landlords responsibility re gas & electric safety checks & anything not working properly ie boiler, shower etc – well you’re entitled to working ( and safe) heat, water, gas, electricity etc. if anything, it sounds like you have a claim against the landlord. I hope you’ve got all copies of documents ie safety check recommendations etc.

His son will be getting a completely newly renovated house. The landlord was trying his luck to get OP to pay for as much of it as possible. They knew you had no oven at all? And weren’t planning on fixing it? Also the Supernatural All Cast Signed 15th Anniversary 2005 2020, T-Shirt in contrast I will get this shower problems? I would be returning their email with a long list of these issues and paraquoting some of the comments here! I’d reported it as the oven just kept turning itself off, understandable tbh as the thing was probably around 18 years old at the time, I did actually buy a second hand one but when I got it home it was too deep to fit under my counter top so had to scrap it as was struggling to re sell it, I’d bought an air fryer in the mean time so have just been using that ever since. Your right I think I very well may do that I lived in a house for 2 years and landlord tried to charge me for carpet cleaning. Told her no. She would be required to clean carpets regardless and that’s not on me. In the end, she agreed. Tried to charge me for a few ‘cleaning’ charges (we had cleaned throughly before leaving). When I challenged her the carpets and a used oven dish (which I then realised was ours and took away) was all she came up with. Don’t cave. For some reason people let power go to their heads and chance their arm! You are not responsible for wear and tear.
