While it’s light on the Summer Vibes Gnomes Shirt besides I will buy this Bruce Wayne side of things, what’s there is just enough to justify it’s place in the story. I’m so curious where WB decides to take Batman next after this. While it left some room for a potential sequel, I don’t know how they could change to a different tone that would be required with a different villain. This Riddler really fit this world perfectly. It’s going to be tough to beat for one of my favorite movies of the year. Go see it in theaters. The scene where the robber is staring down a dark alley and the graffiti writer watches his spray can slowly roll into the shadows and out of sight after they’ve scene the bat symbol are amazing I loved it, but damn was it long. Felt like the last 1/3 was extremely poorly paced and it was competing with return of the king for most endings. I also kinda felt short changed on the whole Falcone revelation, felt like it was a little too obvious and i thought they would actually throw a twist in, didn’t realize falcone was the twist haha Loved how we saw him go into full Batman mode at the end. Balancing on beams and hanging Riddlers cronies Arkham style. Not to mention when he loses it after injecting that green stuff (???) And goes full brute Batman. Bravo Bravo. There are flaws to be sure, but god damn it I’m happy this movie exists. It was a pure Batman film beginning to end. I’m glad I read the Last Halloween for preparation for the this one. Man the future looks bright for both my favorite super heroes. No Way Home and The Batman were real nice treats these past few months.

I could listen to the Summer Vibes Gnomes Shirt besides I will buy this batmobile’s engine firing up for hours. The ‘Rorschach’s Journal’ narrations were amazing and fit The Batman like a glove, it’s crazy that none of the live-action versions have done this. So simple yet so effective! I loved how they touched on the psychological hold Batman has over the city, with multiple criminals looking and running away from the shadows despite the fact that he’s not there I went into this with no interest in Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman at all, I came out thinking she’s my favourite version of Catwoman yet. (it’s down to her or Pfeiffer which is kind of a Sophie’s choice) Robert Pattison and Zoe Kravitz have great chemistry and were able to say so much about how the characters feel about each other without actually saying it Colin Ferral’s Penguin was great, super excited to see him take of Falcone’s business It took me a few scenes to warm up to Robert Pattison’s Batman but overall I dig it. I liked that he didn’t speak unless needed making him more intimidating. Without the mask Riddler was amazing and Paul Dano’s acting was absolutely incredible. The thing he did with his eyes when he sees Batman for the first time was incredible. As was the scene in the prison where he realizes Batman is neither on his side or his equal.
