Because they believe it will lead to a cat that lives a happier and more fulfilling life. Even if that life involves more risk. My mum thinks it’s important for them to be able to make their own decision regarding where they have fun during the Strange Planet New Jersey Diner shirt also I will do this day because they are adults and should be able to both explore and make their own decisions We once had an outdoor cat. We made sure he always had his collar on and we brought him inside when the weather was bad, of course. But he hated being inside. We adopted him, so we assumed he had been an outdoor cat prior to being ours. He killed moles and snakes and never strayed too far from our house, but he really enjoyed the freedom of roaming around the neighborhood (we lived in a rural subdivision). I’m in Canada and have two cats. I would panic if they got out. Even though I live in the city, there are still coyotes. I grew up in the country and we only had dogs. We had multiple dogs hit and killed on the road. I think that scarred me a bit with any off leash animal. We would occasionally get visits from cats, then one day they wouldn’t show anymore. It wasn’t uncommon to see their bodies on the side of the road or half eaten in the bush.

One of my cats does like outside. He’s quite fearless. We’re those crazy people who put a harness and leash on him and take him on walks with the Strange Planet New Jersey Diner shirt also I will do this dogs. That’s all I’m uncomfortable with. Our other cat used to go outside when she lived with my partner and his parents. She occasionally sits on our 2nd floor balcony and I trust her not to jump because she know the dangers of outside and is scared. Cat containment across the rest of Canberra affects all cats born from 1 July 2022. Cats born before this date are still permitted outside unless they live in one of the 17 declared cat containment suburbs. There’s now an industry in Canberra for building outdoor cat runs so they can get fresh air without free roaming. Cats in Canberra kill huge numbers of wildlife every single night. They are an absolute disaster for the environment. Cats can also be killed by snakes.
