Why even have paid at this point, either have ad supported free version, or continue to exploit for profits an already oversaturated market that keeps raising prices… If people cant get things at reasonable prices, without ads, then people will just install adblock and pirate, why bother with the frustration of having a viewing expirience contantly ruined by yet another app or company cutting up, what used to be a great alternative ‘the netflix model’, into tiered systems that still cost more money year after year. Almost as if this is an issue/feature of late stage capitalism, to grow profits year on year, prices must always go up… In a limited market.

Disney basically said they don’t support the Stop being the bigger person slash their tires shirt but in fact I love this bill but at the same time donated to the politicans that made it happen. Boycott disney and everything they own. Fuck em Wait, what? How does this work with Disney being openly supportive of the gay community and doing gay parades? They even sell pride-branded Disney merch. So confusing! I am genuinely done playing this game. If I am paying you and I see ads I will cancel your service and pirate your content. Well crud, now i have to reconsider having Disney+. I generally have a policy of not supporting pay+commercial services even with a no commercial tier. I still remember cable.
