Also, do you WFH or go into an office? If an office/ call center, how many of them are in the Stevie nicks rock on gold dust woman T-Shirt it is in the first place but US and around the world? As a tier 2 CSR, I can tell you that we only work certain cases which are linked to certain contact reasons, or if they’re escalated to us based on available information. Tier 2 handles basically everything on-trip such as cleanliness, accuracy or amenity issues, bug infestations, users not responding… The list goes on but stops at whenever there’s an incident that actually threatens someone’s physical integrity, which is when you get passed on to Safety. I’m WFH but work for a call centre nonetheless. I can’t tell you how many call centres Airbnb works with because I actually don’t have that info, but I know that throughout Europe they work with at least 2 partners (Telus and Foundever / Sitel Group) with a site in at least 5 different countries.

My last salary was around 950€ after taxes – this figure also includes prorated holiday bonuses, promotion bonuses and night shift pay. I also have a meal card which is credited 150€ every month and can only be used in certain businesses depending on their fiscal category. Realistically more than half my money disappears on rent, and I blow through the Stevie nicks rock on gold dust woman T-Shirt it is in the first place but meal card about halfway in because one does not only live off only rice and stir-fry. That is unfortunately my monthly compensation, which is one of the reasons that deep down I’m done with this shit. It’s not enough money to live decently. My IRL situation is like Homer looking at possible apartments and then saying “ooh, windows – I don’t know if I can afford this”, because even though I’m paying 500€/month for a 12m² room in the centre of a major european capital, I have no fucking windows and don’t know when it’s day or night anymore. (1) How much of Airbnb support is outsourced? Do outsourced support staff have any training in interpreting policies and using discretion? (2) Will a resolution centre claim succeed if the “damages” (which is what hosts are forced to describe it as in the UI) are extra unpaid guests staying at the property? How about fines that were pre-disclosed in the house rules for breaking any of the rules? (3) Why is it so difficult to get reviews removed if they were written in retaliation? In my experience CS staff doesn’t care about the fact that the person who wrote the review broke the house rules, only if the content of the review itself is about those breaches of the house rules and how they were addressed.
