No one here mentioned anything about kids… you were the Steely dan bard college do it again shirt Apart from…,I will love this first. So it seems like YOU are the one involving kids in politics – and it’s obvious what side you are on. Calling the kettle black, eh? Check this out… How the G.O.P. Picked Trans Kids as a Rallying Cry It always seems to be the ones pointing their fingers at others who are actually the ones dragging kids into it and have something to hide. Conservatives are the dog who caught the car when they overturned Roe vs Wade last year and now they are desperate for a new culture war to rile up their base and they are demonizing LGBT Americans. Answer: The left wing of the political aisle pushed too far with the LGBT agenda by involving children. What you’re seeing is finally a reaction from the right. Over recent years you have seen an attempt to normalize hormone therapy for preteen kids, sexualized drag shows aimed at kids and what many would call general indoctrination of incorrect gender ideology. Answer: Cynically, they have the Supreme Court so Republicans are now doing what they did with abortion and pushing bills that are flagrantly unconstitutional in hopes they pass, get challenged, and end up in front of the court they’ve stolen to establish new precedent.

Someone else said political red meat which is also a great answer but the Steely dan bard college do it again shirt Apart from…,I will love this long term play of getting it to the court to overturn things they don’t like is the real answer, I think. A better answer than most from what I have seen, although I’ve seen a lot that touch on most things. Keep in mind this is just my opinion from what I’ve personally watched as ive seen the societal downfall of this country, but one that’s probably gonna get me down voted to hell is because both the Republican and Democratic Parties are actually Right Wing, one is just slightly left of the far end of it. What they’ve done is created a mass amount of issues between their voters and chosen to pick a few topics and make them completely inflammatory. People who vote for the Republican Party have always been about “muh Freedoms” and “Independent Living” etc. So the politicians pandering to them have taken to riling up their masses by saying people are going to take their guns, the guys will get you, they’re taking over schools, etc etc etc. Most I’ve met could give a fuck about anyone’s sexual orientation etc, not all, but most. People who vote for the Democratic Party have always thought it was about freedom, acceptance, open mindedness, anti-war, etc etc etc. So the Politicians pandering on their side have taken to riling up their masses by saying that the opposing side openly hates them and wants to take anyone who thinks differently from thems lives, etc etc etc while literally not even standing for, defending, and actively working against what they say theyre for. And over the course of the past 10-20 years it has dissolved into this fucking hodge podge of tribalism where people can’t even communicate with someone who’s politically different from them because they don’t understand that the vast majority of the country when you get them down to their basics actually pretty much agree on a lot of shit and the extremists get everything. Because they need to keep the fire going. So the rainbow and pride etc is one of the focal points because someone is shouting “they’ll take your way of life from you” while the opposite side is screaming “they don’t want you to have your way of life”. When the vast majority don’t really feel like that at all. And before someone calls me out on the “both sides” shit. It’s not both sides. Both political parties are on one side. And it’s not fucking ours.
