Illinois is the Stay Positive Traditional tattoo T-Shirt and by the same token and only state in the U.S. that doesn’t allow facial recognition tech to be used on cameras. I just hope that law also extends to cops scanning your face. There are always loops holes. China has great success with this tech. They can pick out a peep in a crowded concert with thousands people. 500 MP. NYPD has been trying to do the same but the tech isn’t there. I’ve been tempted to set up lights(and a camera) on my car that shine a bright light at eye level outside the window of my car if a flashlight hits a sensor on my door jamb. I’m always courteous and put my indoor lights on so they can see clearly but they just have to be assholes and shine a very bright light in my face. The light in the eye is to check your sobriety / eye response to the light, to see how “safe” you are (at least out here in rural hell).

I mean, you’re not supposed to take off until after your eyes readjust. It’s an irritating and invasive practice though. I do think I will call the Stay Positive Traditional tattoo T-Shirt and by the same token and cop an asshole the next time that happens. Which probably won’t be for another decade. Seeing all this dystopian shit makes me want to leave America for real. I know it’s gonna make its way everywhere and it’s already worse in others, but here it’s happening pretty rapidly. No. If you’re falsely arrested, it’s an experience that could haunt you. How many innocent people would have to go through that to catch a single criminal? As long as I can scan the cop’s face to see how many times he’s had disciplinary actions and complaints againts him, I’ll be fine. They used to scan our faces, at work, to take our temperature. Told them they weren’t allowed to do that because there is no law for them to do so but they did are. There are rights to protect us. We need to know those rights before we lose them. Do you have a passport? Been to an airport?got a drivers license? Congratulations, your biometric data is in a database. simple solution here, set your phone to passcode only to unlock and only use face of print ID after the phone is unlocked… Make those fuckers hack it.
