I get that this is scary new technology, but how is this any different from collecting you license, that has your face and other personal information on you that they can search to pull you up. And what if they are wearing a body cam that is recording you and the whole interaction. Why’s it any different if they use your face to look up if you’re in the system over any other of your information that you are required to hand over. It doesn’t make much sense. They already have much more personal information on your government files than what your face currently looks like. And I’m sure most of these people plaster their face all over any socials they have anyways. If they want your face, most people have it out there freely for anyone to see as long as they know your name.

So what different intentions do they have by getting your face then and there rather than off your license or any other documentation they have on you. Respond politely “ I charge royalties for my likeness” get a lawyer to trademark your digital human and bingo now no one can digitize you without consent and if they do sue them! With camera sensors increasing in megapixels and dropping in price, it is just a matter of time they add this technology to body cams and patrol car video cameras to instantly make identification even before the target car comes to a full stop unless this issue is addressed.
