Chances are you are being used as an intermediary until they have found a new person for the Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Leia & Lola L0-LA Shirt so you should to go to store and get this function, but as long as you are taking on extra responsibilities you should be eligible for a salary that equals that of your old boss and you would not have to attend to your previous job as well. And if things go well, and you meet all requirements, you should renegotiate and ask them for a permanent appointment on this new function. Good luck! Agreed with the responder who said “get them to put that ish in writing”. But congratulations though! Secure your bag, and don’t let them okeydoke you. Get clear expectations and success criteria from your bosses. Ask how they will track your and your teams progress, ask for weekly 1:1 meetings with management and get a mentor

Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Leia & Lola L0-LA Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

“Here, do this job thats harder and requires more skill, we PrOmIsE we’ll pay you later for a job done today…” Meanwhile they hire someone from outside, then ask you to train them when they get there, AND then say “you can be the Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Leia & Lola L0-LA Shirt so you should to go to store and get this backup/assistant boss for this extra ten cents an hour.” Get a guarantee IN WRITING that this job is yours or refuse the extras work. If you are good enough to do it now, you’re good enough to get paid for it NOW. (edit a word) Get a contract in place stating exactly the raise and when it would begin. Don’t for a second trust anything not in ink and signed. Here’s a crazy idea, give me the title and raise and if I fail at the role then fire me. Don’t expect me to assume all this responsibility without the proper compensation. Plain and simple. Take the position, work it for a year with the new title and new responsibilities, and set up regular check points with your new boss to discuss your progress and periodically discuss timeline for pay and salary grade increase. After the year, when they keep making excuses to screw you over, take your new experience and job title and parlay that into a new and better job at a new company where they’ll pay you what you’re worth.
