Without microtransactions games actually have to add value to get your money. cool game subs frequently get over run by the newest and often worst release so if you liked medieval 2 total war you’ll get screamed at for not having a orc in it or some shit. You unlocked a core memory for me with medieval 2 total war. Install it, edit the game files, unlock all the playable factions, and play all night. Used to be a good way to burn a school night. It was actually going to be my first diablo. I played the beta and had a blast. Then I saw all the shit about the microtransactions. If I pay 70 bucks for a game I expect the full game, including “optional” cosmetics. I just know this game is going to get worse and worse about it as time goes on. It’s not mandatory now but guaranteed 6 months from now they’re going to start releasing 40 dollar DLC packs that if you don’t buy you become obsolete.
