Wife’s friend moved back here 5 years ago and married my friend’s brother. My wife can text her friend’s husband, too. Literally no concerns about anyone in this equation. Its weird from the Spaghetti Western if bein’ meatball is a crime then baby I’m an outlaw shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this perspective of folks in that age range. Remember those younger folks grew up on their phones and with this tech, so it might be fairly normal from their perspective. In think it’s sweet. I have the feeling that your young friend thinks of you as an older sister and really wants you to like her fiancé. Hence giving him your number. She’s hoping you’ll become closer to the man she’s spending her life with. The only thing weird is that she probably should have asked you if it was okay to do so. Doesn’t seem super weird unless he starts texting later at night just to chat. Asking what you’re up to. Wanting to carry on conversations throughout the day. But maybe slightly weird at the same time. What reason would he or the other friend have had to give him your number? Did he ask the friend for it, or did the friend just offer it up for some reason? Maybe limit your text interactions with him and see if he follows suit or tries to ramp up. At the end of the day, if it’s completely friendly at this point and both your husband and your friend know about the texts and nothing is hidden, there’s no harm in it.
