If you involve Airbnb there may be a chance they help get you out, but not sure how they will handle it on the Sorry I Wasn’t Listening I Was Thinking About Fishing T-Shirt also I will do this host side. There will likely be some sort of repercussion for them. I’d document the bugs at the very least. There are more reputable places like the one I’m moving into. What I’m learning is that budget accommodation in most places, not all, is not the same as perhaps in Europe. Document everything before you go. Do a video of the space before you leave. This will both be proof of the issues, but also proof of how you left the space. THIS. Trust your intuition. Even without the bug issues, which would be a major dealbreaker for me, a man who behaves as this one is = HUGE HUGE red flag. Get out of there. Safety first.

Listen to your mom. Nice for the Sorry I Wasn’t Listening I Was Thinking About Fishing T-Shirt also I will do this brother you can send a thank you message later if you feel so inclined. Get out, get new setup, don’t say where it is and then message if you feel you should. Let me get this right – you feel unsafe enough to leave, but are not prepared to do anything to prevent others having the same experience as you? For your own safety I would leave first to your new place, then contact not support but trust and safety to tell them why you left and get a refund Leave and let support know. You need to report them so no one else books Here. The family can’t be that great if there’s roaches and stuff. I’ve spoke to other travellers in similar places and they have all experienced roaches, geckos (which I don’t mind) and mice/rats. If I was here for a week or two it would be fine but I don’t have it in me to do this for another 3 weeks especially as I’m here to have a break. Say nothing until you’re safe, notify the brother or leave a note in the room. Do not tell them where you are going and make sure you take everything with you. Block his phone number. Just get out of there and call air bnb once you’re completely gone. You don’t owe anyone an explanation. They are compromising your safety! It’s not a guest’s responsibility of course but an idea of how to deal with roaches in a home is to use boric acid powder in the corners and in cabinets . No roaches by the next day, permanently.
