I isolate. Allowing myself to feel all the feelings & submerging myself in self care things like long hot baths, good food, maybe some alcohol & green leaves but never overdoing it. Playing some video games, watching good movies & maybe when I feel a little better talk to my husband or mom about why I feel the way I do & at that point I can take opinions, words of advice or just their presence to cope. After all that I reemerge into the world. Gacha games, YouTube, social media, manga, hentai, porn, and now AI. Put on regular rotation and watch entire years slip by unnoticed. Being alone in my room, music, crafts, arts or gundam and weed. Listening to philosophies to validate what I’m feeling.

“They’ll see, I’ll become fitter / more productive / have mind blowing grades in uni/ etc”. Guess what never happens? When my anxiety was at it’s worst, I would go to the Snoopy happy easter day shirt and by the same token and gym every week and do a full body work out.. in one session. I felt like death afterwards but I was in shape lmao Give it time. Most perceived disasters never fully blossom. Just waiting things out can help a lot. Caveat: doesn’t worry on Grizzly Bears stampeding towards you. I literally say “wah wah wah”. I spilled my coffee? Wah wah wah. I got a parking ticket? Wah wah wah. I broke my leg? Wah wah wah. Browsing reddit and distracting myself with YouTube and tik tok. At least I’m not getting into too much trouble. Having a two personas help. One for work and another outside of work. It feels impossible to control life. But work is usually a routine and is often predictable. Having a separate persona for work can bring you a sense of purpose and achievement that the alternate persona is missing. Work. Work is static. You know what is expected of you. You know when it starts. You know when it ends. And everything is by procedure giving you that sense of order that life takes away from you. Being grateful. Sounds weird because my life is often in a sucky place but like, it could always be worse so I do my best to be grateful about what I do have and sometimes that keeps me going.

Wynncraft se, rodo, skyv, cork disco, cotl disco lootrun on agile speedy walljumping archer Stratiformis build. Inspired by T307’s gamer lootrun style. Very specific i know. se rodo skyv cork cotl is short for region names: Silent Expanse, Sky islands + void, Corkus (discoverer-item-only chests), Canyon of the Snoopy happy easter day shirt and by the same token and lost (discoverer-item-only chests) There is just something so fun about running around the map with extremely high agility and manouverability that requires skill whilst also hunting for mythic lootboxes in treasure chests all over the map that it helps with stress and shitty times. Folding paper stars instead of acting on selfdestructive thought. I always think its so weird that something so easy like this helps me every time. But when I’m in a BAD bad situation I often can’t think of any coping mechanisms

Distraction. I read a lot bc it’s great escapism, so I’ve hit like 40 hours of time spent reading during a normal weak when I wasn’t doing well Last fall my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer…. I swear the Snoopy happy easter day shirt and by the same token and court of thorns and roses series could not have come to me at a better time. Totally took my mind off my sadness for brief periods and was so needed. I used to have a panic attack every single day, been dragged to mental hospitals, tried to overdose on my medication, taken far too many SSRI’s and anti-psychotics… I eventually got my life around thanks to cutting people out of my life and, well, to be honest, them cutting me out as well. I found people that actually understood me, and from there I figured out what the actual heck was the problem: I was misdiagnosed completely.

With doing the Snoopy happy easter day shirt and by the same token and actual research on my own about how my mental disorder, y’know, scientifically works, I was able to re-discover myself and enjoy the things I really want to do without having everyone surround me criticizing me. I got back into drawing, started to paint, make jewelry, have stuffed animals again, fidget toys, got into oddities and taxidermy collecting, and even surround myself with cool pets now (snakes are rad and lizards are awesome). I feel like the mask has popped off now from trying to fit in to just being my god damn self… and it feels GOOD. Now I’m just busying myself with art stuff and trying to get into healthy routines. Having a goal for the day helps so much I binge watch my 600 lbs life. Seeing those people and their struggle to basically MOVE really makes me want to do it If there is a solution to a problem, there is NO PROBLEM. If there is no solution to a problem, there is NO PROBLEM!
Indifference. Seriously, I have learned what I can safely ignore that’s going on around me. And that helps my mental state. A lot of the Snoopy happy easter day shirt and by the same token and news I ignore. A lot of things that come from friends and family and work companions I ignore. And specially most things from my mother-in-law who lives with us. Basically if it doesn’t affect me directly, I ignore it. Mostly it’s because I recognize that I can’t pay attention to and act on everything. If it’s something I can’t do something about directly, I have to ignore it in order to get things done during the day or all I’m doing is reacting to everything. Staying out of my head. I just dissociate and do something that requires little to no thought like maybe a mindless game or activity. Cooking. I get inspired and I’ve made some of my best dishes when I’m going through a difficult time, puts me in a better headspace
There should be a place that anyone can go to and just scream – like, really let out a primal howl. Release it all. It’s not healthy to carry it all inside. I can view everything as a new challenge that needs to be tackled, aside from health issues which freak me out (luckily I don’t yet have serious issues). If nobody died and nobody is sick, then bring it on. Remember, life is a meaningless ruse, a hapless farce which we toil in vain to imbue with meaning… so go nuts with the Snoopy happy easter day shirt and by the same token and hot sauce.
