For perspective, minors get cosmetic surgery with parental consent a few hundred thousand times a year. To say nothing of circumcision which kills babies every year and is totally unnecessary. “The ultimate step in gender-affirming medical treatment is surgery, which is uncommon in patients under age 18. Some children’s hospitals and gender clinics don’t offer surgery to minors, requiring that they be adults before deciding on procedures that are irreversible and carry a heightened risk of complications.” “The Komodo analysis of insurance claims found 56 genital surgeries among patients ages 13 to 17 with a prior gender dysphoria diagnosis from 2019 to 2021. Among teens, “top surgery” to remove breasts is more common. In the Six things i do in my spare time dice board game computer dream T-Shirt in other words I will buy this three years ending in 2021, at least 776 mastectomies were performed in the United States on patients ages 13 to 17 with a gender dysphoria diagnosis, according to Komodo’s data analysis of insurance claims. This tally does not include procedures that were paid for out of pocket.” So, it seems that pre-puberty surgies do NOT happen. That is false and propaganda from the Six things i do in my spare time dice board game computer dream T-Shirt in other words I will buy this right wing to scare you. It’s simply not true. Nope, just getting blockers is still a bloody nightmare for most people, it’s just another made up problem for conservatives to fixate on instead of the economy, the environment, and the epidemic of sexual abuse happening in their churches. A lot of people talk about how some people do transition surgically and may regret it. And yes this does happen very rarely, but you know it’s a surgery that’s way more common and way more regret it. Knee surgery. But no one’s kicking up a fuss about knee surgeons doing irreversible damage to people. Funny that But the Fear-mongering of the right does not explain that well. If they push the theory that surgery on minors is the norm, they scare Boomers and Idiots into thinking that WE MUST PROTECT THE CHILDREN from “this” Because they’re greatly exaggerating what “this” actually is. Why? Is it because the Right fears non-traditional, lifestyles? Are they really so angry that they’re trying to eliminate all trans people? Do they believe that their interpretation of GOD has never made a mistake? Trans children are often prescribed puberty blockers. This stops them from going into puberty until they are old enough to decide. The reason is because, once they go through puberty, it’s harder for them to transition and pass for the correct gender. Those drugs are totally reversible. When they stop the drugs, they go through puberty
