it really depends on what works best for the Shut up honky The Jeffersons American sitcom television series that was broadcast T-Shirt and I love this cat. i grew up with fast eaters that needed set mealtimes, but my current cat is a nibbler and will leave herself food out basically all day and she just sits by her bowl quietly if its ever empty Dry food is filled up each morning and a big fountain of water is always out. My cats are grazers and typically there will be a bit of food still left when I wake up. I put a dish of wet food as a treat a couple times a week, they both eat at it slowly all day, but I think they’re weird for that. One cat is overweight, and the other is tiny, so the tiny one gets dry food left out where the overweight one can’t get it, but they both get breakfast and dinner My girls free-feed, but the bowl is never completely full at any one time. They get a pre-measured amount each day and it is doled out slowly as the bowl empties, with the last bit being at human bedtime so we don’t get woken up, being stomped for food. They also don’t get that “you’re fed first thing before humans do anything else” bit, so we don’t get woken up, being stomped for food. :7944: They have to wait until this particular human has showered and dressed before going downstairs to get breakfast. They also get treats once or twice a day (greenies, for their teeth and breath).

They’re growing, and they get reasonably high calorie food, but they’re both a breed that tends to chonk if not active enough or not careful with the Shut up honky The Jeffersons American sitcom television series that was broadcast T-Shirt and I love this feeding. Thankfully, neither one of them is hugely food motivated, unlike my last beastie. We have a bengal and she’s super active so we leave a very measured portion of dry food out during the mornings and then scheduled food. She has to eat raw food bc of stomach issues that were causing behavioral issues (scratching furniture and knocking stuff off the shelves) but once we scheduled her raw food they stopped. If your cat knows how to self regulate, then free feeding works. I have one cat that self regulates and another who will eat any food left out, so he’d get fat if I didn’t portion his food out for him. So both my cats have set meals. I feed them mostly wet food, so free feeding wouldn’t work out anyway. I have 1 auto feeder and 3 cats. They eat breakfast, small lunch, and dinner. They don’t seem to mind sharing either and they all get along well. They have plenty of litter boxes tho !
