Sure people could be caught up reading a newspaper or book back then, but people can hardly walk around and notice the SHURIKEN DISK Shirt in other words I will buy this world around them these days without fiddling with their phones. Idk, I think we were kind of at the height of civilization before the apple phone changed the world. Now people are never not plugged in. My phone battery was slowly dying, and eventually it just quit charging, so I ordered a new phone and it took about a week to get the new one, I felt so refreshed and Good, more than even disconnecting from facebook years ago. Internet = great, social media = bad. I have been sort of sentient since the mid 70s and had access to computers since the early 80s. Without internet things were ok, but it’s better with. Social media + ads really messed it up imho.

Initially maybe not but I feel like social media has spiraled out of control and it’s definitely negative. MySpace was such a simpler time where all we did was show off our personal home page and had some music playing. Now it’s either people doing stupid shit, people flexing, politics, or people bitching about politics. I’ve cut pretty much all social media out of my life with the SHURIKEN DISK Shirt in other words I will buy this exception of Reddit and Twitter (which I really only use for sports or crypto) and I feel like I just don’t have non stop stress and negativity coming at me. With that said, there are probably a lot of people who love the communication it gives them with friends and family across the globe. It’s made our world smaller which can be both good and bad. I guess it all depends on how you use it and how you manage what you allow your self to engage in.
