Most people mute their phones anyways. Everyone who keeps the Shining Day and Night -SKZ T-Shirt and I will buy this ringer on (older folks) doesn’t know or care enough to change it. I never let my phone ring The sound is usually off so I don’t care what the ringtone is. I remember buying ringtones in the “olden days”. Mine’s a bird call (a whippoorwill). I’ve had it for three different phones now. I need to figure out a new alarm sound so I stop reacting to other people’s alarms, though. My phone is on silent 24/7 because I turn it off for work and can’t be bothered to turn it back on and off 500 times a day. I’ve got a watch that vibrates for the important stuff lol. I will always have my Castle Crashers forest shop ring for general calls, my Mega Man start button ring for texts, and my Final Fantasy 7 victory for special notifications. I have different ringtones for each person. Although general calls are House Of The Rising Sun and I do occasionally hear it on other people’s phones …. I remember when I was young and a phone call was met with excitement. Making plans with friends, catching up on the latest, etc. Mine has been lost woods from ocarina of time for like 15 years. It just keeps being there since I spent $1.39 on it way back.

Originally I was gonna say that I stopped caring when they didn’t allow you to just make your own. You had to buy them. But I just checked my phone and apparently I can use anything I want. So the Shining Day and Night -SKZ T-Shirt and I will buy this search for my new ringtone starts now! I don’t have a phone atm, but I always have a personalized ringtone when I do have one. It saved me at work when my nurse manager got mad at me for not silencing my phone. She said “That annoyingly happy ringtone is driving the lab crazy!” I looked at her, got my purse out the cabinet, turned the sound on (yup…it was on silent) and played my ringtone. Definitely not ‘annoyingly happy’ at all. She looked at me for a second and then said, “Yeah, I guess you’re not the annoyingly happy ringtone type.” Damn this is a reasonable sociology question. Had dummies in 2004 making they girls custom ringtone songs that were just BEEPS – that’s what was hot, fuck’n wit your Nokia “ringtone maker” – just how you want the beeps? Basically.
