The second part of this the See the ability not the disability autism awareness colors shirt and I love this savings ethics of that generation. They just saved money and pinched pennies in ways we will not. They also didn’t have nearly as many entertainment options at their disposal to waste money on. They were miserly and thrifty and never wasted a dollar. That’s why they always whine about how their children don’t save anything. They would find it completely nuts that people claim they can’t afford anything but still subscribe to netflix, disney, hbo, hulu, ps5 game pass, spotify, and expensive phones and service. That type of conflict would not scan for them because they would prefer to keep the $15/month. It makes me so sad. Personally, I’m working my ass off now because I want my children to have a good life one day, and I hope that when they grow up they can have a life as easy as the boomers had it. I just try to do everything in my power to make that possible for my own children since I know it won’t be that way for me.

In the See the ability not the disability autism awareness colors shirt and I love this 1980s my parents bought their home 2600sqf 3 car garage for $180,000 in California in the San Francisco Bay area brand new track home in an expensive area their combined salary was about 80 grand a year. They both had brand new cars BMW and Porsche and three kids two dogs two birds. Our government allows corporate interests to literally suck the value out of everything… Eat the rich! Yep, my grandfather was retired from the navy (not even a high rank) and my grandmother worked odd jobs all her life (runway model before it was worth any money, dental assistant, etc) and was fully retired in her 60’s by the time I was born. They bought the house I grew up in and my grandfather’s pet project was to build out a whole ass addition with a new bedroom, bathroom, deck, and what would have shaped up to be a cool ass man cave had he not succumbed to cancer in his 50’s.
