Single Dude here. That guy is a turd and doesn’t deserve someone to take care of him. how is this acceptable? its not. good call. you’re better off not thinking he’s gonna get better. he’s not. cooking a girl a meal is an easy task that is something you should be doing from day one. not just one day. pathetic. You weren’t dating him, you were babysitting an overgrown child. Nobody needs someone like that in their lives. Good on you for breaking up with him. At the Scream Horror Knife Shirt moreover I love this end of the day, the only reason you need to stop dating a person is to no longer want to date that person. Doesn’t cook, bad cook, already a good cook and you really want someone you can learn with… all fine reasons to stop dating someone if it means you aren’t happy in the relationship. And even beyond that philosophical stuff… seriously, 8 months is plenty of time to figure out how to cook an egg and recognize bacon without someone having to hand it to you. When a person is that incompetent it’s because they want to be.

Scream Horror Knife Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

When this story started I thought you were both 20….. And even then it was cringe. You’ ain’t got time for that shit. Find a partner not a pet. I don’t see why you’re worried about the Scream Horror Knife Shirt moreover I love this cooking being a valid reason. There’s like 10 other good ones in that post. Sounds like some infuriating passive aggressive or learned helplessness behavior. I think you made the right move. Not gonna lie, when the post for some reason showed up for me and I saw the title, I thought „well fuck yeah, you are wrong – it’s just cooking“, but then I read the post and I am actually surprised you kept his useless ass for 8 months, lol. You absolutely didn’t set him up to fail. He used weaponised incompetence to try force you to do everything around him. You were his girlfriend, not his maid or mother. He’s not a child, he refused to actually follow through on his promises, and he’s 36 – it’s not up to you to teach him shit – he had time to learn and didn’t bother. On top of that, it sounds like he was deliberately doing this stuff to like… punish you for asking him to do something – anything. Its called weaponized incompetence and anyone who gives you shit about dumping his manipulative lazy ass can simply fuck right the fuck off. You totally did the right thing! I’m assuming that before living with you your partner lived with his mother? Because I don’t see how this human has survived this long. I blame his parents. Regardless of gender people need to know how to be something other that a useless pile of meat.
