One day my best friend told me he was going to get a vasectomy, this made me think about myself. Then I noticed that for my whole life (M33) whenever I pictured my future, there was never a kid of mine in it. So I realized I never wanted to have kids, that’s when I decided to get vasectomy too, this was around 1 year ago. Normally, with my friends, family… I don’t want to be a father but I’m pretty sure I’m a good uncle. I don’t want the responsibility. Also I don’t want to put my body through a pregnancy. I’ll spend time with my spouse, make art, adopt a couple of cats, travel, etc.

Way too many mental health issues and too inconsistent. Also I want things and to surround myself with things to heal my inner child I would be a terrible parent and the Save Earth It’s the Only Place with Dad and Cat Eco-Friendly Dad Tee T-Shirt In addition,I will do this idea of being responsible for the development of another human terrifies me beyond belief So much of my life and my money would have to focus on upbringing a child and honestlt from where I’m standing that shit is all downsides with zero upsides. You kind of need a partner in order to makr a child and I don’t have one, have never had one, and in all likelyhood will be dying alone, so even if I did want kids it wouldnt be happening anyway. I am diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and was told I would have an 80% chance of having a permanent psychotic episode after birth. I have seen some horrible cases of women like me that hurt and even murder their children. For this I have decided to not give birth. Adoption is hard for me as well with my mental health issues so I have come to terms I will not have any children. I was a preschool teacher for many years and currently am a Behavioral Therapist for children and autistic people. My friends don’t and also some have children and I have family that I care for. I spend a lot of time with them. I haven’t felt like anything was missing yet. I have moved all over even living in Dubai for four years. Traveled to over twenty countries. I stay busy every year going to concerts, broadway shows, retreats. Can’t say I’m not busy and not happy. I have a lot of hobbies from 3D puzzles, guitar, going to the gun range and road tripping around the East coast for new places to see.
