Think it over for a second – assuming it was $20 they’re asking for (usually there is a range)….if 330 million Americans gave $20 one time a year when they went to the grocery store, that would be $6.6 billion dollars to end child hunger in a single year. That’s more than that $10 billion dollar corporation can afford to donate. However, it would be nice if they pledged a matching $0.50 or $1 per donation so that everyone is doing it, wouldn’t it? Not sure if this was already said, but the corporations that are asking you to donate have ALREADY donated a set amount. They are literally asking you to just pay them back.

Walmart has been kinda shady randomly switching the Savage Spring Break Binge-Watchers Podcast Tee T-Shirt moreover I love this yes and no buttons do you accidentally click yes by muscle memory. I worked for a supermarket that made us ask customers for donations. Each time they donated, we had to wave a stupid clapper. Managers would hover around and make sure we asked. I would see many of the same customers every other day, or sometimes every single day- I hated having to shake them down for donations, so I after a while I just refused. Some cashiers were ass-kissers, so they always asked and made sure to use the clapper like clowns. The bagger who was a full-time guy, bascially said the whole thing was a tax write-off. This is why big box retail sucks, they always want you to hit some kind of metric per month. Sell x amounts of plans, get x amount of people to donate… I worked in an indie record/CD store in high school and all I had to do was ring people up and help people find music. The CDs sold themselves. It was a great job.
